Playing on the Mountain

What a fun day!! It started with a coyote hunt in which Cory got his first one ever. Way to go hon!
Later on, we packed a picnic and headed up the mountain with Melanie, Kody and Britney Orton. We started at some lava tubes called Mammoth Caves the kids were a little freaked out to be in the dark, but they were so excited and proud of themselves when we found the end and decided they liked it after all. the boy's faces really tell a story in these pictures.

Melanie and I rode our 4-wheeler with Kody and Britany from the caves to Duck Creek where we went to find the Ice Cave. We found the cave which is a cool big hole in the ground, but no ice. I thought the "Ice Cave" should have at least a little ice, but not that day. We took some pictures outside of the cave and I guess I just have to realize that I'll never get a great picture of our family. Here is proof.

The adventure wasn't over yet though, after the ice cave, we headed to Cascade falls. The falls were beautiful and the hike was perfect for our little family. We all had so much fun.
