Luke was really excited about getting a disneyland map so brett was excited too. A kid at school brought one and luke could find every ride by looking at it. there were only a few problems with Luke navigating. The major issue was that while he was looking at the map, nothing else seemed to matter around him. He could have walked to china and never noticed while he was telling some random person what ride he found. We had to take the maps away while walking so we could accomplish anything at disney.
They have a bugs life area that is perfect for little kids and we spent a good part of the morning riding there. The rides are so cute and all have the bug theme with everything made out of small human things made big like from a bugs point of view.
We ate our lunches in Bear Country where we met Brother bear and played on the playground for quite a while. There is a climbing wall, slides, tunnels, a zipline, treehouses, caves and lots of shade to hang out in.
Cory and I rode the Tower of Terror and Screaming while grandma and grandpa watched the kids. There is definately a reason they are named what they are, but we loved it! Although we love taking the kids on rides, It was sure nice to be able to ride some ourselves.
We had such a great day relaxing in Turtle talk, Watching all the I-Max clips of Disney movies, letting the kids loose a little and going to the Aladdin Show. We went on the Woody ride, and Soaring over California(which are two of my favorites)and the kids finished with the lazer show over the lake and fireworks. The only casulty was mine when I thought I lost my camera. We panicked, filled out Lost and Found Reports and after fireworks, found it in the cooler. whew... what an awesome day!!
