Cedar Express and the Parade

What a crazy, crazy, crazy weekend!!! I thought in my old age, I would do something completely crazy and ran in the cedar express 31 mile relay. I wish, looking back, I would have trained for the big event. I had a lot of fun with my team, but there were times I thought I was definitely going to die and couldn't take one more step, but somehow, I finished both of my legs of the race. What an experience!!!

In the meantime, while I was running in the race, there was a parade going on in town for the family fun festival. Luke was in the Mayor's float with Bev and Joe dressed as an oompa loompa. Brett and Braydi were in a float Jen put together with a jungle book theme.
