Soccer!!

I really had no idea what we were getting into when we registered for soccer this year, and I volunteered to coach a team. Soccer has definately been an an adventure, and we have come a long way from the first of the oh so long season. My very passive Luke, has gotten better and better each game. He runs harder than anyone, has started being at the right place at the right time instead of following the ball around the field and He even scored a goal! Brett (who I have the honor of coaching) has also scored a goal, and is much more aggressive. He is very quick, is a thinker on the field and can dribble in the right direction most of the time. I think both boys are currently going to the games for the half time snacks and after game treats, but hey, they have some great treats. Coaching 4 year olds, i've found, is more like herding cats. Not only do I play coach and referee in the games, but I have to keep them on the field (they like to give mom hugs) carry some around (because they get hurt and tired easily) teach them the rules and make sure they all have fun. Quite a job, I'm exhausted just talking about it! I'm sure proud of my boys and we're very excited  about their first trophies. They definately earned it!
