On Sunday night we said goodbye to 4 year old Brett which caused Luke to have quite a come apart. He Liked 4 year old Brett and wasn't sure if he'd like 5 year old Brett as well. Well, the next morning, we all decided that 5 year old Brett was GREAT!!! We sure love our big boy and are so proud of him. He is a very special little boy with a lot of energy and a huge imagination.
Brett's favorite food is pancakes, so he got pancakes with hearts and sprinkles for his birthday!!
Brett got to have a birthday party for the first time this year. We had a superhero water party (a lot like his brother's last party) and trained some new superhero's to save the planet.
They each started with a ringpop that held their super power and suited up in goggles for their secret missions, training included: learning to fly on the slip-n-slide, shooting the crazy alien sprinkler with their water guns and practiced throwing bombs with water balloons and squishy water balls. 
In the end, we recharged our superpowers with superhero cupcakes and icecream.
The whole thing was SUPER!!! We sure love our Brett, Happy Birthday Buddy!!
After cleaning up the party, We went to see the Avengers movie with Grandpa, Melanie and Charles. What an awesome way to end a SUPER DAY!!!
