I took this picture two and a half days after planting the seeds. I couldn't believe they had grown so fast and the kids were so excited. It's great to see results so quickly.

FHE Fun
We started a vegetable garden in our kitchen window for Family Home Evening this week. The kids have a great time playing in the dirt, and there are many lessons to teach the kids about life with those tiny little seeds. I bought the coolest little plant thing that holds 72 plants for 5$ it was way cheaper and easier than doing potting soil and cups. Among the seeds planted were lots of tomatoes and peppers of all varieties, watermellons, broccoli (which was the fastest to come up) green beans, pumpkins, squash, strawberries and I'm sure there are probably others too that I cant't think of at the moment.
