New Beginnings

I really enjoy my calling in Young Women's as the councelor over beehives. We have lots of fun and I really love the girls in our ward. Lots of time goes into young women's and most of my work is unimpressive, but we were pretty proud of what we did for New beginnings this year. Our theme was to use the values on our "yellow brick road" in our homes now and on our journey to our eternal home.

Andee Adair made all these baskets that were filled with symbolic treats and motivational quotes from the movie "the wizard of oz"

The refreshments were ruby slipper cookies and emerald punch. Yummy!

The Adairs also created Emerald City for a backdrop.

Each of the girls in the presidency were assigned a value with a character in the movie to how they used the value to overcome their trials. Everyone worked really hard especially the girls, and it turned out great.
